Digital Evidence Escrow
The purpose of this site is to be a digital escrow service for reports of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and any other violent crime. If you don’t want to report to the police today, you can create a report here. This will be an aid to your memory later and it will provide an accurate record of exactly when you made the report.
By submitting a report here you will create a digital time stamp that proves the exact date and time you made your report. All submissions made to Evidence.Support are understood to have been made in preparation for legal use and are therefore protected under the doctrine of litigation privilege. Evidence.Support will only release reports with the express consent of the author, or following the author’s death.
The report itself will be encrypted and stored on a secure server in Switzerland where the data privacy laws will protect it until it is needed.
